New Babies Are Wonderful

I was excited to hear when this baby boy had made his way into this world. I was even even more thrilled when I was allowed to take some of their first family pictures. Entering their room at the hospital room was a magical experience on my part. The outside world had completely disappeared and I was able to live in this beautiful bubble they had created for an afternoon. I was so moved by the love that these two had for each other and how devoted this new father was to his wife and new son. I'm so very happy for these new parents and wish them nothing but the best in this new chapter of their lives. I feel blessed to have been able to capture some tender moments of this new family and hope that those who look through these images are able to feel the love that I felt while sitting in that room. 

Class of 2014

Well my baby sister has graduated from high school and I feel old. Where did the time go? It was a surreal moment for me looking through my lens and seeing a grown woman who no longer needed to crawl into my bed after a nightmare. It feels like it was just yesterday I was making her laugh by throwing her baby doll at the ceiling fan. And how can I forget all the fires she started in the toaster and microwave by stuffing them with pencils, brushes, and baby oil. She sure was crazy and still is but she has grown into such a beautiful woman who is so sure of herself, something Ive always envied about her. Congratulations Julianna! I love you and I'm excited for this new chapter in your life. 

An Expecting Mother

I was able to photograph my cousins sweet wife recently. Its been fun watching these two prepare for their family to grow. Life is getting so much more fun now that cousins are getting married and having babies. I sure can't wait meet this new edition to the family!

I took some pictures of my cousins boys a little while back. I love these children to pieces and I love how sweet they are to my own baby when he goes over to play. It wasn't easy getting pictures of these wiggle worms but these were some of my favorites.

Growing up I always had an appreciation for photography.  I loved looking at all kinds of photographs. It didn't take very long before my mind began to alter the way I saw life around me, taking one mental picture after the next. I played around with my dads old film camera growing up and loved watching professionals when I got a chance. It was hypnotizing but it never occurred to me to pursue a profession in photography until the birth of my first child. Fate stepped in and I was shown a whole new way of documenting life. Nothing has every spoken to me so loudly, I was changed. For the first time I felt like I was where I was supposed to be in life.  Im now living the dream and studying my passion and in a few short years I hope to have my degree.  I love taking portraits and capturing all the candid moments that life has to offer. Im excited for this new phase in my life and feel excited to share amazing experiences with those I photograph. 

A Mother and Her Baby

I had the opportunity to photograph my dear friend and her sweet new baby boy. It didn't go quite as planned, all this cute boy wanted was mom to snuggle him. If you ask me I think this ended up being so much better. She makes a beautiful mother don't you think?
